Samsung and LG at home no box if the store allows it

Plenty of UAE homes want the app on the TV itself. That works on Samsung and LG when the store still carries a player, or via MAC registration. If the store is empty, a small HDMI stick is faster — both paths are below.

Setup steps

    Update the TV OS (Tizen on Samsung, webOS on LG). Stale stores reject IPTV apps or drop them after the first system update.

    Open the TV app store and search IPTV Smarters Pro or Smart IPTV. If it appears, install it and note the MAC address on screen.

  3. 3

    Send that MAC on WhatsApp with the TV model (e.g. Samsung 65QN90 in Dubai Hills). We register it on the portal after activation.

    Force-close and reopen the app. The playlist and EPG should land on their own. Wait about thirty seconds — do not mash Refresh.

  5. 5

    If the store has no player, or Samsung blocked sideload, put a Firestick or Android box on HDMI and follow that guide instead. It beats unofficial TV firmware files.

    On the TV picture menu, avoid Game Mode for 4K matches — Standard or Movie is more stable.

Samsung Tizen in 2025–2026

Newer Samsungs from Extra and Sharaf DG in the UAE have tighter stores. Some 2024+ models will not run Smart IPTV. Use the 24-hour trial on the same panel before you pay for a year.

If the app launches then dies, it is often TV memory, not the server. Power-cycle from the wall, not just sleep.

LG webOS

LG is usually friendlier, especially OLED sets common in Abu Dhabi and DIFC. SS IPTV or Smarters typically run after MAC registration.

The Magic Remote makes searching 28,000 channels less painful — favourite sports on night one.
