MAG vs Formuler vs a stick
MAG (Infomir) is portal-first: one URL, a simple remote, no Play Store. Fine for live TV. Weak if you want TiviMate, recordings, or easy app updates.
Formuler (Z8/Z10/Z11) is a nicer Android-based box. Many still use the portal; some owners install TiviMate. If you already like MyTVOnline, stay there — we will send the matching login.
If the box is slower than the TV’s own apps, or the store on a 2016 MAG cannot hold a modern EPG, a Firestick 4K is the kinder path. Same subscription.
Mistakes that look like “the server is down”
- Portal 2 still pointing at a dead reseller. Clear it.
- MAC never registered, or registered to last year’s seller. We need the current MAC in the chat.
- Box on 2.4 GHz in a Marina cabinet. Ethernet on MAG/Formuler is worth the cable.
- Factory reset that generated a new MAC after we already registered the old one. Message us before you reset.
After it works
Leave Portal 1 alone. “Refreshing” every match night is how people paste the wrong URL.
Connection limits still apply: the box plus an iPhone playing at once is two connections.
