What counts as a connection
A connection is a screen that is playing live TV or VOD right now. A Firestick sitting on the home screen is not. An iPhone in your pocket is not. The lounge stick plus a tablet playing MBC in the bedroom is two.
AirPlay or HDMI from a phone to a TV is usually one stream (the phone). Two apps open on two TVs is two, even if both use the same username.
- 1 month — 1 simultaneous connection — 44 AED
- 3 months — 2 connections — 102 AED
- 6 months — 3 connections — 132 AED
- 12 months — up to 5 connections — 257 AED (~21 AED/month)
Typical UAE households
Studio or one-bedroom in Marina: monthly or quarterly is enough if only one TV plays.
Family apartment in Sharjah or Khalifa City: lounge + kids tablet in the evening → you need 2 connections (3-month plan) or you will kick each other off.
Villa with majlis and upstairs: yearly (5) or yearly plus an extra-connection add-on. Do not share one monthly login across cousins — that is how the account trips the cap and looks “broken”.
What we will not tell you
We will not say “unlimited devices” and then silently drop screens. Going over the cap pauses the extra playback until you close a stream. If you need one more screen, buy the extra-connection add-on or step up a plan — WhatsApp is the desk for that.
Credentials are for your household. Reselling or posting the login in a group chat gets the line cut. That is in the terms, not a scare tactic.
